According to a survey of our alumni in 2018: 94% of graduates have jobs within six months of graduation 51% make more than $75,000 per year—88% make over $50,000 88% work or study in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector 82% of graduates accepted a job offer within one month of graduation This bachelor’s level program is designed to prepare ‘job ready’ graduates to competently assume entry-level business positions in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, diagnostics, device, healthcare, and other industries, in fields such as marketing, advertising, sales, consulting, medical education, public relations, operations, compliance, market research, and project management. Additionally, it also prepares students to successfully undertake graduate education in business and related fields. Funding/Scholarship Opportunities At USciences, we're investing in you—scholarships are available in the form of merit-based awards of up to $10,000 per year, which may be awarded to eligible undergraduate students upon acceptance to the university. Academics Graduates of the program are prepared to eventually fulfill leadership and management responsibilities in a variety of healthcare industry settings through the curriculum’s emphasis on building broad-based business knowledge and practical skill development in the tasks required of leaders in the industry. Our students’ unique understanding of the scientific, professional, economic, and practical issues that influence pharmaceutical and healthcare business prepares them for success in a broad range of industry roles. The curriculum integrates the fundamentals of business with liberal arts and biological sciences courses. Students take courses in business (marketing, economics, accounting, finance, and management) as well as courses with a focus on knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. An optional industry internship may be scheduled between the third and fourth years of the program. Admissions Requirements USciences has a rolling admission policy and applications are free. Submit your official high school transcripts from all high schools you have attended. International applicants must submit a course-by-course transcript evaluation through WES. Complete the Common Application. Submit a letter of recommendation. Up to two additional letters may be submitted. You can use our recommendation form. Submission of SAT and/or ACT scores are optional for students applying to begin undergraduate coursework in fall 2021 due to test cancellations and delays because of COVID.
