MSc Clinical Anatomy
This MSc in Clinical Anatomy aims to provide students with a greater understanding of advanced human anatomy including appropriate radiological anatomy, microscopic anatomy, and embryology.
The modules presented emphasize clinically and surgically relevant anatomy, although they are not designed exclusively for clinicians, and applications are invited from any students who have studied cadaveric anatomy within their first degree.
We have also launched a blended learning approach to achieving a PgCert or PgDip in Clinical Anatomy for working doctors. This involves online learning plus a two-day residential course.

Queen's is one of the few medical schools in the UK where students have access to human cadaveric teaching material in a purpose-built facility licensed by the Human Tissue Authority.
Teaching will be based in the Centre for Biomedical Sciences Education, whose staff have won seven Queen's University Teaching Awards in recent years.

ASSESSMENT & FEEDBACK
The assessment used will depend upon the teaching methodologies used in each module. In general, it will involve short answer/single best answer tests, practical assessments, log books and portfolio as appropriate.
LEARNING AND TEACHING
Queen's University Medical School has a long tradition of excellent medical education which is constantly updated in response to developments in medical science and practice. There is a combination of course classes on this course and a number of practical learning methods including; lectures, e-learning opportunities, practicals, self-directed study and one-to-one training.

A medical (MB) or dental degree (BDS) or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University, or a 2.1 Honours degree or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University in a relevant discipline (eg Anatomy, Biomedical Science, Human Biology). All applicants must have studied human anatomy as a significant part of their undergraduate degree. If the number of applicants exceeds the course capacity, the School may undertake interviews as part of the selection process.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students (for whom English is not their first language), must be able to demonstrate their proficiency in English in order to benefit fully from their studies. Non-EEA nationals must also satisfy UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) immigration requirements for the English language for visa purposes. Evidence of an IELTS* score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in any component, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University is required (*taken within the last 2 years).

The Department for the Economy will provide a tuition fee loan of up to £5,500 per NI / EU student for postgraduate study.
