Why Study Pre-Vet at Albion?
Through the Wilson Medical Institute, you’ll prepare for a career in veterinary medicine through tailored coursework, service, clinical experience, and research. Thanks to our rigorous academic and co-curricular programming, our pre-vet students have gone on to veterinary medicine school at Michigan State University, Purdue University, and Illinois, among others.
As a pre-vet student, you’ll select a major–often biology, chemistry, or biochemistry–while following our dedicated curriculum that will prepare you for advanced study in veterinary medicine. You’ll have all the benefits of a broad liberal arts education, developing cultural competence, communication, teamwork, and social skills as you learn through one-on-one mentorship with faculty, close relationships with your peers, and plenty of opportunities for active learning.
