Introduction
The first cycle program in Dentristry (one-tier first cycle in QF-EHEA equivalent to master's degree and 7th level in NQF-HETR (TYYÇ)) is an academically-oriented program giving access to degree and non-degree research program and professional practice demanding high levels of knowledge and skills.
Our mission is to develop a physician's notion which is comprising education, research, and patient treatment activities in the field of dentistry, equipped with basic medical information, following all kinds of innovation with a high level of application skills, focused on life-long learning and self-improvement, adopted ‘’primum non nocere’’ as a principle and ethical values;
to train dentists who can intervene effectively in any situation to diseases, anomalies of the stomatognathic system consists of the mouth, jaws, and closely associated structures;
to gain an interdisciplinary perspective and Strengthen treatment planning skills with evidence-based data that is necessary for raising the interaction in the field;
to provide students training in the field of deontology and behavioral sciences to support being highly distinguished and qualified professionals.
Objectives
- To improve students with Current theoretical and practical information in the field of dentistry.
- To educate future scientists who are equipped with techniques of Action Research.
- To improve student evaluation on Quality, reliability, and validity of the information that they have.
- To prepare students for technology-based education and train them as life-long learners.
- To develop clinical skills of students with contemporary educational methods to be able to make a differential diagnosis, preliminary diagnosis, or definitive diagnosis under the light of the medical, oral, and dental status of patients with clinical and radiological examination and other diagnostic tests.
- To provide students interdisciplinary teamwork based on principles and procedures of medical or dental ethics case consultation for gaining an interdisciplinary perspective.
- To train dentists who are a modern, international, human-oriented educational institution providing high level oral and dental health services to our people.

Program Outcome
Upon successful completion of the program designed in accordance with the aims and objectives of the program and the program learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills, and competencies, students/learners will be able to:
Knowledge
- Possess knowledge of diagnosis and treatment to evaluate the general health condition of patients.
- Relate their knowledge of basic medicine to dentistry.
- Have a command of patient-oriented approaches to behavioral psychology and promote and sustain oral health.
- Communicate with patients to inform them about oral and dental health.
- Intervene in emergencies related to dental health.
- Diagnose the patients after evaluating the complaints individually to treat or forward them to the relevant specialist.
Skills
- Perform adequate cognitive skills to intervene in emergencies related to dental health.
- Offer solutions to oral and dental problems using scientific data/evidence.
- Interpret scientifically proved data using their medical knowledge and skills.
- Possess the authority to diagnose the patients after evaluating the complaints individually to treat or forward them to the relevant specialist.
- Intervene in emergencies related to dental health.
- Evaluate the oral and dental health of the patients to practice treatment in accordance with a plan.
- Practice treatment according to the protective treatment needs of the patients.
- Apply the protective treatment with regular checks.

Due to their independent perspective and critical thinking, they can open up a clinic or continue to education as a resident or master/Ph.D. student.
