Introduction
The Integrated Pharmaceutical Medicine (IPM) Graduate Program is designed to educate and develop students into leading independent scientists, scholars, and innovators. The program offers exceptional training opportunities in the basic and applied health sciences with nationally and internationally recognized faculty across the following focus areas: Neurodegenerative Diseases; Heart and Blood Vessel Disease; Auditory Neuroscience; Musculoskeletal; Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism.
Our goal is to train students to be on the forefront of demystifying disease mechanisms, identifying disease targets, and advancing innovative therapeutic interventions and technologies. To achieve this, students will develop critical knowledge and skills through a ‘tailored’ interprofessional curriculum, immersive extramural internship opportunities with industry and hospital partners, as well as, a diverse community of research faculty mentors and collaborators housed within state-of-the-art research facilities.
