Introduction
This course deals with the basic concepts of Medical Laboratory Science with emphasis on the basic principle of clinical laboratory work, point-of-care, and patient laboratory science provider loop. Laboratory session includes on basic principles/concepts of phlebotomy and point-of-care.
Also included in the course, the holistic view of how science, technology, and society interact and affect each other especially on the implications to the health status of the Filipinos and to the healthcare profession in the country.
