Introduction
Nurse educators play a pivotal role in strengthening the ever-important nursing workforce. With South University’s RN to Master of Science in Nursing with a Specialization in Nurse Educator degree program, you’ll develop and practise curriculum development strategies, teaching methods, and evaluation techniques for the classroom and clinical practice. Our RN to MSN offers a unique opportunity to registered nurses who do not currently have a BSN degree. By combining nursing theory with advanced practice concepts, graduates of our RN-MSN are well-prepared to work within either a healthcare or education setting.
Including key attributes from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Master’s Essentials, the core curriculum will strengthen your skills in evidence-based practice, health promotion, disease prevention, healthcare policy, and more. In your practicum and online nurse educator courses, you’ll learn how to design, implement, evaluate, and revise academic and continuing education nursing programs.
