Introduction
The UF College of Nursing has the No. 1 ranked DNP program in the state of Florida and No. 15 among public nationally, according to U.S. & World Report. As the first nurse practitioner program in the state, the College of Nursing holds true to its mission to provide excellent personalized nursing care, generate research and scholarship that have an impact on practice and prepare graduates who care, lead and inspire.
The BSN to DNP program is between 75 and 78 credits depending on the specialty track. Our curriculum focuses on the national DNP essentials and provides a clear path for the development of the DNP project. All classes are taught in an online format with periodic required campus visits, in addition to clinical placements within the state of Florida. Changes in curriculum plans may delay graduation due to pre and co-curriculum requirements.
