A direction inextricably linked with the Mission of the University is Medical Rescue. Nowadays, the development of this field is forced by civilization threats (technologization, urbanization), a large number of accidents, catastrophes, an increase in the incidence of cardiovascular diseases, social pathologies, alcoholism, drug addiction, crime, terrorism, etc. They are the cause of the increased number of emergencies life, becoming more and more often of a mass character and causing a lack of sense of security. The subject in this system is a paramedic, and his professionalism is a determinant of not only life, but its quality in the post-resuscitation period. The mission of the University is not only to educate paramedics in accordance with the expectations of the labor market, but also to continue training paramedics in order to obtain the necessary educational points in the course of professional development and to conduct training for the community of our city (companies, organizations, individuals) in the field of basic life support (BLS ) enabling instrumentless maintenance of airway patency and maintenance of respiration and circulation.
